More than 2 thousand plants in village called Kalyanpura in Begu area!

Villagers of the Kalyanpura village of Begu area understood the importance of trees 4 years ago. As a result, they have planted more than 2 thousand fruit-bearing flowers at Panchphal sports ground, Mokshadham, community hall and public places. They have kept the plants alive by taking good care, so that the environment of the village remains pure, oxygen is available and the birds can live on the trees.

"Village should be identified with Green Kalyanpura", said Ashok Kumar Dhakad, son of former sarpanch with environmental lover resident of Kalyanpura. Kalyanpura turned green with the passion of a team of 50 people. The small initiative of the villagers of Kalyanpura regarding environmental protection is nothing less than an inspiration.

All the villagers keep the plants alive and fulfill the responsibility of taking care of them, so that the village becomes beautiful. In summer, this team irrigates the plants by planting tankers. In Dhamancha Gram Panchayat, Gunpura, water is given to the plants by tanker. According to Wardpanch Santosh Devo Dhakad, MNREGA also inspires the workers towards environmental protection by planting saplings.

In Kalyanpura village, a team of 50 people worked hard on about 2 thousand plants, then in four years these plants started taking the form of trees. Green Kalyanpura, a social media group created by some villagers 4 years ago, cherished the dream of getting recognition. With this, many villagers were added such as Jamnalal Dhakad, Hemant, Kamlesh, Banwari, Anil Sudhar, Prahlad, Bharat, Sanjay Shambhulal Dhakad, Gotu Singh etc.

About 50 villagers joined the team and planted 1000 neem, 600 gooseberry in 70 bigha and 180 saplings in Mokshadham. Four years ago, under MGNREGA Panchaphal scheme in Kalyanpura village, 1000 neem, 600 gooseberry plants were planted on 70 bigha land with the help of this team. Planted 108 saplings of Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Kachnar, Gudel etc. in Mokshadham. 120 saplings of Neem, Gulmohar were planted in Kalyanpura Model Sports Ground. 34 saplings of Jamun etc. were planted in the community hall.
